Desert boot continues to blend well with sneaker in the Nike Ralston Mid for 2012, a next step in the ongoing evolution of Nike‘s deconstructed look. Two new muted colourways,  grey/grey in nubuck and black in tumbled leather, further the non-flashy factor in these casual lifestyle sneakers. Nike technology is discreetly incorporated, with an Air unit in the heel and deep-flex grooves in the rubber outsole providing advanced comfort, flexibility and traction. The Ralston is described by Nike as a “collision of performance footwear and sleek street-wear,” but to us it looks more like a smoothie.
