Levi’s Waste Less Jeans

Striking out at the heart of plastic waste darkness, Levi’s Waste Less Jeans pounds post-consumer PET from an average of eight water bottles (or food tray equivalent!) into each pair. That’s about 20% of the hybrid denim, using up plastic that would otherwise  end up in landfills and oceans, and taking some of the eco-load off of virgin cotton. “These jeans are made of garbage,” says Levi’s—think of it as in all ways covering your ass (and a reason to look more kindly at eco-conscious polyester blends!)! They have Waste Less trucker jackets, too. $TBA.
