A successor to Land Rover’s iconic Defender? With design cues from the current Discovery and Range Rover models, the Land Rover Defender DC100 Concept‘s outline reaches back into LR’s rich Defender history but is firmly targeted on the future with its automated, take-no-prisoners Terrain Response all-wheel drive system, and an array of HD cameras that IDs surrounding hazards and delivers fighter-jet-like 3D visuals. The focus is on superb functionality, ultimate ruggedness and durability, and, of course, stoking your desire. The DC100 begins a four-year journey to the global release of the next generation Defender production model in 2015.
