For clean-line-minded cyclists, the Kashimax Rain Tail is a cleverly telescoping rear fender that slides away under the seat when not required. Japanese manufacturer Kashimax makes keirin race-certified gear, so this intended for velodrome use, but it will look sharply minimal and disappear in flash…anywhere. This is a vintage product from the 1980s, available as dead stock, brand new in package, from Chari & Co. NYC. Also, it attaches to the seat rails, but it’s not entirely clear which seats it fits, so you may have to take your chances!
