If what’s going on in a small slew of trendy American restaurants is any indication, high-end Italian craft beer is the drinkin’ foodie’s Next Big Thing. With the always-prestigious Made in Italy tag, and $40-a-bottle pricing not uncommon, these brews are on the menu front and center at restos like Alla Spina in Philadelphia, and Nostrana, in Portland, Oregon. To get a taste of this new action, look out for Tuscany’s del Borgo, with the lovely Re Ale (above), Bruton, and other artisanal breweries, including Baladin, Piccolo, and del Ducato.
