Analog art for a digital world… Gravity Dice by Suzy Lelièvre does a kind of logical thing for dice, treating them the way they might behave in a fluidly reprogrammable world, where the pips would fall to the bottom of the cubes. It is another in a series of distortions of everyday objects by this young French artist, works that include inter-contorting tables, bottles mating with glasses, and brains made out of sponge. All quite…acceptable. You can obtain your own unique set of five Gravity Dice, etched and painted on PVC, directly from the artist’s eshop.
