Sweet design, elegant indoor gameplay. Gates by Romain Lagrange is indoor croquet, realized in sycamore maple, cork and leather, fabricated by craftsmen from Switzerland and France. Admittedly, we haven’t gotten our hands on this one, but are willing to wager that it plays as good as its well-put-together look. French designer Lagrange notes that famous French king, Louis IV, liked croquet, but gave it up during winter months because of the weather. Interesting.
