Game On is a bunch of things: a collection of gear for urban athletes, an exploration of sports in everyday city life, and a design school grad project for up-and-comer Tom Chung. The biggest of the three objects is a slice of locker room for your living room—a locker/changing bench unit that’s pretty enough to be highlighted front and center in your home. Next up, a desktop shot clock that “aims to recreate the dying seconds of a basketball game,” inducing that adrenaline rush you need to flee your workplace at the end of the day—it is also a regular clock, and a portable scoreboard for street sports. Last in line, a set of simple wooden posts with spikes, inspired by shirts, rocks, shoes…the impromptu objects used for quick goal posts in street games—they come in a pocketed roll-up that straps to your bike. Thought-provoking: whatever you are thinking…that is good!
