From the uncompromising folks at FEIT, upholders of old school, highest quality, handmade-in-Italy leather shoemaking, the tiny FEIT Handmade Leather Accessories collection features a wallet in two styles, and a shoehorn (they complement FEIT’s SS/2012 footwear line-up). The Horizontal and Vertical Wallets, fashioned seamlessly from a single piece of calf skin, are designed to slip effortlessly in and out of a back pants pocket or inside jacket pocket. The 15-inch Shoehorn is a single piece of calf skin, hand-molded, wrapped around a gun metal base. All leather is vegetable tanned with minimal dyes, chemicals and pigments to keep it as close to its natural state as possible: soft, non-irritating to the touch, and able to age richly over time. Wallet and Shoehorn are available in three colours: Naturale, Corteccia and Nero. FEIT began its unrelenting commitment to handcraftsmanship back in 2005, with 20 shoemakers, each producing one item at a time. It doesn’t get more personal than that.
