Low-slung, wide stance, planted masculinity are the keywords assigned to the new BMW Zagato Roadster one-off concept car, a follow-up collaboration marrying Bavarian sports car engineering and Italian design. Zagato‘s last turn with BMW resulted in the Z4-based BMW Zagato Coupe concept ride, and the Roadster carries over most of that while adding critical new styling to the ragtop version. Smoothed lines, refined rear end, interior wrapped in brown leather right up to the roll bars, signature Zagato double-bubble roof, and a special liquid metal paint job that reads grey to silver depending on the angle of the light—it’s all about exclusive style.
