From those who know those who should know, word is that the BMW M135i Concept concept hatchback will see the light of production day.This is definitively a hot hatch, an M Performance-enhanced version of BMW’s 1 Series 3-door, with a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter, inline six-cylinder engine delivering in the area of 0-to-62 mph in 4.9 seconds and a limited top speed of 155 mph. In addition to a reworked suspension, wider tracks, lower ride, larger 18-inch wheels, and upgraded brakes, significant restyling, from bumpers to mirrors, makes sure the M135i stands out from the standard 1 series. As the hints have it, there will be a four-wheel drive option. Availability is said to be so far for Europe only.
