Rumoured for a while, now announced for fall, the new BMW 1 Series GT is a hatchback that changes things up with front-wheel drive. It fits in the 1 Series line alongside the existing hatchback (above), with four-wheel drive and hybrid versions apparently on the way. Opening another car wars chapter, the 1 Series GT looks to be targeting the Mercedes-Benz B Class as its prime competition.
