For the past eight years Avant-Scene has carved out a niche in Montreal for contemporary Italian design. With it's downtown location at Place de la Cathedrale, Avant-Scene represents some of the leading design giants such as B&B Italia, Maxalto, Artifort, and many other exclusive design houses.
The design philosophy at Avant-Scene is simple and not unlike the modern contemporary design it showcases. Our forte is working with a customer's own design sense and budget to achieve an interior which is both beautiful and functional. A well executed interior is based not only on aesthetics alone, people have history, items they've acquired with significant sentimental value, colors and shapes they react to strongly. It is the design team's job to help bring all these elements together to create balance and unity.
Offering complete design services both in residential and commercial projects, the skilled design team of Yves Gauthier and Paula Ribeiro enjoy working with the many design styles from pure modernism to eclectic chic. Avant-Scene has been featured in many design publications that showcase its projects and is also proud to have participated in the highly regarded Hotel Gault and W Montreal as suppliers for the many design icons featured in these hotels.
The showroom showcases a large selection of modern Italian furnishings, carpeting, lighting and accessories.
