Tomomi Sayuda's Desktop Fireworks is an alternative office stationery "with an extra function".




Details: Pressing the big emergency style button "releases an orchestra of light, music, bubbles, confetti and thus relieves stress" says Sayuda.

On the surface Desktop Fireworks is lighthearted, but on a more serious note the project is dedicated to the designer's father Kenichi Sayuda, who committed suicide on July 8th, 1995 - aged 37, due to his stress at work.

Designer: Tomomi Sayuda is a London based Japanese interactive and product designer and artist, whose work is concerned with humour and sub-cultures.
