Brigitta Nemeth's Chair Woman is a chair based on a concept; that furniture is jewellery for the body.

Details: A black tubular steel frame is used to hang beading that forms a seat. "Black was a very important colour because it emphasizes the shape and give us the feeling as if there was a drawn figure standing infront of us." says Nemeth.

"Beading has a longstanding tradition and is newly interpreted in Chair Woman. It was very important that the final product have a strong female charisma and that the combined materials had the properties characteristic of a woman."
