Glowing globes: MCE Lamps by Note Design for PER/USE offers an M.C.Escher-esque namesake frame, a mildly puzzling, absolutely stable wooden cradle for an ambiently glowing spherical glass bowl that can be directed for a soft spotlight effect.

Details: Solid oak and hand-blown gradient colored glass, in three sizes. Originally designed as a one-off for the Glass Elephant exhibition, Stockholm Design Week. Launched and on display now through new Belgian design brand, PER/USE, Milan Design Week, to April 13, 2014.
