by Ted Savage / March 26, 2014
Alt hockey: Aalto Puck by Nordic Society for Invention and Discovery, inspired by the free form work of Finnish architect/designer Alvar Aalto, adds a new dimension to hockey with a non-round puck possessing an unpredictable bounce.

Details: Made of "the same material as a regular hockey puck" and "behaves in the same way on ice," except for the random angles of rebound from the boards. Developed with renownded Finnish glassworks, Iittala, where Aalto was on the designer roster.
