Corked: Levante Bowls by Alessandro Zambelli are off-kilter ceramic vessels kept upright by integrated corks (a common object used for everyday repairs in wine-centric Mediterranean culture).

Details: Three models for design collective PadiglioneItalia. Levante will be shown in the "Mediterranean Dysfunction" exhibition at Ventura Lambrate during Milan Design Week 2014.

Designer: Alessandro Zambelli, in Mantua, Italy, studied industrial design and materials engineering at Cova School of Design, Milan, worked for several years at Agape, and founded Alessandro Zambelli Design Studio in 2003.
