Inside out: House 1101 by H Arquitectes, a family home in Sant Cugat del Vallès, near Barcelona, Spain, comprises three separate volumes, connected by covered spaces, with foldaway glass walls that open fully to integrate indoors and out.

Details: Each of the three volumes serves a distinct function: children's area, with bedrooms and playroom; living area with kitchen and fireplace; parents' area with bedroom and studio. Masonry construction, Double-face brick load-bearing walls, with red masonry exterior, and white-painted interior. Geothermal, under-floor heating and cooling.
