Exploring energy: EM (ElectroMagnetic) Table by Florian Dussopt uses an electronic circuit set in the table to induce a localized electromagnetic field capable of directly lighting fluorescent tubes placed in close proximity, with no physical connection.

There is an on/off switch. Based in London, Dussopt founded his studio in 2006 and "takes inspiration from physics to create experiences and meaningful story telling projects."
