Cremation urns with a magnetic memory, Echoic Vessels by Dagny Rewera store fragments of sound in embedded magnetic pigments, similar to a tape recorder.

The sounds, intended to evoke memories of the deceased, gradually disintegrate, as the urn slowly degrades - the limited number of plays parallels the progression of grief and healing.
