Haus Walde House by Gogl Architekten
by Ted Savage / April 25, 2013
Given a primary design mission of bringing the Kitzbühl Alps into the living room, Haus Walde House by Gogl Architekten, in Kitzbühel, Austria, tackles multiple location challenges - nearby protected historic structure; narrow, sloped site - with carefully positioning, large-scale glazing and an open plan across three levels, in wood, natural stone, and exposed concrete.
