Edward Street House by Sean Godsell
by Ted Savage / March 1, 2013
A new family home fronted by a heritage-protected bluestone duplex in an inner suburb of Melbourne, Edward Street House by Sean Godsell reflects the architect's ongoing exploration of "the semiotics of codes - barcodes, gene codes, thumbprints," solving practical design requirements with an eclectic blend of traditional Japanese and traditional Australian colonial construction.
