Video: Between Two Rivers Felt Vessels by Siba Sahabi
by Harry / February 4, 2013
Mesopotamia, the birthplace of the pottery turntable and the cradle of Western civilization are inspirations for Siba Sahabi's contemporary felt vessels.

Between Two Rivers is the ancient Greek translation of the historic land of Mesopotamia, which is located between the rivers Tigris and Euphrates. The pottery turntable was invented there, in Ur, and later introduced to Greece which sparked a new style of Greek ceramics called Minyan pottery which Siba has reinterpreted in her felt sculptures.
