Turning street art into ironic, playful and possibly haunting social commentary, Stenciled Cities by Evol are electrical junction boxes made into miniature architectural records of the microenvironments they inhabit.

Using stencils to organically enhance the physical characteristics of each individual box, Berlin-based graffiti artist Evol applies windows, satellite dishes, balconies and other meticulously rendered details, transforming drab urban artifacts into miniature mirrors of their surroundings.
