Assiduous attention to natural wood grain creates distinctive one-of-a-kind patterns in Gavin Coyle's JAC Tables.

JAC is a series of turned side tables made of fast growing Douglas fir.

Each piece is made up of a single plank of timber which has been cut and stacked together in a particular sequence to highlight the distinctive pattern of the annual growth rings.

Decorative patterns emerge as each consecutive piece is folded on itself from the bottom of the table to the top. More at Gavin Coyle.
