Dodeck Lights by Markus Dilger and Thomas Hiemann

Berlin based designers Markus Dilger and Thomas Hiemann's Dodeck Light series is a result of experiments with space filling, geometric structures made of cardboard.

Says merge GbR, "The formal language of the individual parts is reduced to the geometric basics, assembled it creates an interesting structure. It creates decorative patterns on the ceiling and wall."

Each Dodeck lampshade consists of die cut components made from cardboard. The cardboard is 100 % wastepaper and free of hazardous materials. The lampshade is produced locally in Berlin. Photos: Marie Jacob.
