A vertical concrete monolith of a weekend home in Huixquilucan, México, Alta House by AS/D Architecture is precisely inserted with a minimal footprint on a steep slope, allowing the three levels to each interact optimally with the sweeping valley view below.


A stacked staircase provides vertical circulation. A CNC-perforated Trespa panel ventilated facade presents the digitized image of a tree from a distance, resolving into a pattern of pixels up close. Via ArchDaily. Photos: Rafael Gamo.
