Lens House by Alison Brooks Architects
by Ted Savage / November 5, 2012
Origami-like 21st century extension adds volume to classic 19th century Victorian villa! Lens House by Alison Brooks Architects, a home in London, updated for a designer/photographer client, projects two tapered spaces off to the side and into the rear garden.

All planes are either solid or entirely glass. Seven planes coverge where side and rear meet. Light is copiously admitted and a spectacular back yard walnut tree is framed. Via ArchDaily. Photos: Paul Riddle.
