Home, dollmaker's atelier, and gallery, all in one, Atelier-Bisque Doll by UID Architects, in a residential area of Osaka, Japan, accommodates all functions by bringing the outdoors in with a thoughtful interplay of public and private spaces across the sloping site, unified by a floating waist-high surrounding wall.
