Munich Eurostar Book Hotel
by Ted Savage / October 23, 2012
A new 201-room hotel in Munich that pays homage to the book, Munich Eurostar Book Hotel is the result of a dual commission, to Spain's Capella Garcia Arquitectura and Munich's own Schmid Architekten. "The facade is full of pages," says the literature, referring to a unique exterior featuring extensions that recall a partially open book, only 13mm thick and fabricated from compact and flexible fibreC glass fiber concrete.
