Thomas Schiefer's Lufttritt is more than inspired by suspension bridges.

Presented at Vienna Design Week 2012, Schiefer's modular floating staircase resembles a suspension bridge, with a light weight metal construction "carried on tensioned ropes, it is self-contained over long distances, without using a long solid. So easier transportation and storage is possible." says Schiefer.

"In the case of this simply installed staircase, the way is free to enter galleries, lofts or assembled areas in offices in a swinging modality!"
