Stroll through Rain Room by rAndom International to discover what it feels like to repel a downpour by the sheer force of your physical presence. That's the surreal experience of this installation at Barbican's Curve Gallery in London.




Cameras track visitor movement, controlling the deluge so the rain stays away in a close radius around you. And it's not just a mind-dazzling effect, cognitive scientist Philip Barnard is analyzing reactions as part of his research into the relationship between people and new technologies.
