Il Tempo della Festa Moulds by Mario Trimarchi
by Ted Savage / October 3, 2012
It's tiny edible architecture, via Il Tempo della Festa (Holiday Time) by Mario Trimarchi for Alessi, a set of six silicone timbales in the form of miniature architectural food-shaping moulds.

The sets come in colours - black, white, peach, kiwi, or mango - and with recipes by superchef Alberto Gozzi. His inspiration: the words of 19th century chef and haute cuisine pioneer Marie-Antoine CarĂªme, who once said: "The fine arts are five in number: painting, sculpture, poetry, music, and architecture, the principal branch of the latter being pastry."
