A private commission for designer Arnaud Lapierre was inspired by "a minute of silence" for this contemplative commemorative object where a chrome marble follows a helical path around the side of a black jar.

The marble takes precisely 60 seconds to travel around the object and finish its journey by clicking on a glass surface. Says Lapierre, "the user has 60 seconds to be absorbed by the shining marble movement, and gradually enter into a deep hypnotic memorial thought. Helping to focus the mind on the commemoration act."
