ADAPTable by Mami Kim
MAMIKIM & Co. is launching a desk that provides surprising versatility at Tent London during the 2012 London Design Festival.

ADAPTable was conceived as a solution to working on a wide range of creative tasks within a small space, says MAMIKIM & Co., "the playful design allows for a user's changing needs, maximising suitability from moment to moment."
Six interchangeable A4 sized black walnut panels slot into the main structure to complete the work surface.
"ADAPTable encourages contact and interaction, providing a practical yet enjoyable environment for the user."
The growing collection of panels available (ruler panel above, cutting mat and pencil holder below) are each designed to fulfil a different range of functions.
The solid American black walnut worktop is held up with brass plate bracings and specially designed steel legs that enable both high and low desk options.
