From Kristine Five Melvær, room dividers "inspired by sheer curtains that flutter in the wind."

The dividers, made of semi-transparent printed silk fabric, are "living veils in space, moving with the wind or people passing" says Melvær.

"The room dividers question the amount of shielding needed in order to create zones, as a fragile and organic counterbalance to rigid room dividers."

The Tint space dividers are part of an exhibition, The State of Things ("Tingenes Tilstand"), which presents new work by a selection of Norwegian product and furniture designers from Friday August 31 to Sunday September 2, 2012. Photos: Erik Five Gunnerud.
