Colour-Based on Nature Wallpaper by Irma Boom
by Harry / April 26, 2012
Via @Homebuildlife, a collection of striped wallpaper by graphic designer Irma Boom "which represents different cultural sites around the world." Above, Waddensea, Netherlands.

The Colour-Based on Nature collection consists of seven different wallpapers and a book inspired by global UNESCO sites - places the World Heritage Commitee considers as having outstanding universal value.

Colours of the natural landscape, taken from actual images of each location, are translated into a striped wallpaper design. The collection was developed in close co-operation with coverings company Eijffinger and each printed on a special width 75 cm, non-woven paper. More at Thomas Eyck .
