Horizon Roof House by Shinichi Ogawa & Associates
Via @archdaily, in Osaka, Japan, "surrounded by Japanese style houses, this one storey house, made of reinforced concrete displays a strong horizontality, with a clear composition of a long low lying horizontal roof, with vertical supporting walls."
The interior is composed of two types of spaces: small closed rooms that line the North side, while main spaces are placed to the South, opening to a long courtyard. "A semitransparent wall of glass separates the courtyard from the street; bringing in light while masking views in from passers by." More at Shinichi Ogawa & Associates.
