Villa Rotonda by Bedaux de Brouwer Architecten
by Ted Savage / October 11, 2011
Via @designboom, a single-family home near a busy road in Goirle, Netherlands, where privacy was a primary concern. The designed addressed this with strategically positioned stone perimeter walls, and a partially surrounding shallow pool.

Expansive ceiling-to-floor windows combine with the walls and the reflective pool surface to create a gently introspective atmosphere. More at Bedaux de Brouwer Architecten. Photos: Michel Kievits.
