Via @designboom, a reassuring mobile housing system for victims of the 2011 Tohoku earthquake and tsunami in Tohoku, Japan.

Interiors and exteriors are clad in warm, inviting wood planking, and exterior partitions capped with "a white-clad gable roof to create a familiar outward form." Houses can be easily clustered, allowing neighbors to remain together. The houses, projected to last for 30 years, can be dismantled or expanded and reconfigured for long-term residential use.
