Small House in Olive Grove by Wendy Evans Joseph Architecture
by Ted Savage / September 23, 2011
Via @ArchDaily, a small house for a locavore couple that manages a grand feel, in the beautiful farmland of Geyserville, California, USA. The three-level layout follows a hillside rolling down to an olive orchard, capturing panoramic views.

The light, spacious feel is accomplished in only 850 sqf. "Furnishings are mostly custom built-in pieces as the room dimensions are small, and space must be used in a highly efficient manner." The limited square footage was concentrated "in a few select areas so that each actually seems quite generous." More at Wendy Evans Joseph Architecture. Photos: Elliot Kaufman Photography.
