Via @ArchDaily, a sustainable eco-home prototype in Klausdorf, Germany, designed by a "team consisting of architects, engineers, building physicists and contractors," and including the Institute for Building and Solar Technology at Braunschweig Technical University.

The group developed a modular building system, and incorporated thermal automation via soil sensors, ceiling-mounted radiation heating, controlled ventilation and a heat recovery support, passive solar through the north-south orientation of the building, with a highly insulated two-shell north wall, a flat green roof, and more.
