From Il Hoon Roh, a sculptural table three years in the making, with help from structural analysis software, inflated balloons, and a custom fabric-stretching technique.

The piece represents "a unique pattern and sculpture which successfully illustrates how two separate self form-finding processes are utilised within a single table structure and how such a hybrid structure benefits the design of and also structurally reinforces the sculpture."





Pneu will be on display at the Aram Gallery in London between September 17th and November 5th, 2011.
