Pentagon Pens by Sam Hecht
by Ted Savage / September 14, 2011
Via @dezainnet, a distinctive pair of pens, fountain and rollerball, as "anchors of reality" in our digital age. In ebonite, with an overall pentagonal shape, they are "deliberately odd and asymetrical - more human than machine." The writing nib was specially created by artist Tham Pui San, and contains 18K gold. More at Industrial Facility and Elephant & Coral.
