Via @designboom, an elaborately upgraded vessel, reworking industrially-produced Nonya vases native to the Peranakans in South East Asia.

The original multicolored pattern is overlayed with an array of dots, the vase is then masked, and the exposed surface sandblasted down to the white "bisquit" porcelain underneath. More at Hans Tan.
