Via @core77, a drawing tablet without the tablet, in the shape of an ink-filled pen that can draw on anything, and record the penstrokes to a digital file.




The pen has a few relatively minor limitations: "it needs line-of-sight, the tracking area corresponds with A4-sized paper, and you can't get too close to the sensor - but it promises to get your scribbles directly into Photoshop, Illustrator or Sketchbook Pro."
