Maison Val d'Entremont by Savioz Fabrizzi
by Ted Savage / August 21, 2011
Via @designboom, a home in simple, iconic form, on a slope in Valais, Switzerland, has been "plugged into the natural topography of the land." Floor-to-ceiling wraparound windows on the second level command a sweeping view of the Alps, the countryside, and the village below. The solid exterior is pre-weathered wood.

The interior surfaces of the transparent level "are finished with polished stainless steel which reflects, projects, and integrates the scenery into the space." More at Savioz Fabrizzi. Photos: Thomas Jantscher.
