Nakahouse by XTEN Architecture
by Ted Savage / August 18, 2011
Via @designboom, an extreme modern makeover on the existing footprint and foundation of a 1960s home in the Hollywood Hills, California, USA, just below the famous Hollywood sign.

The interior was entirely reconfigured, terraces and floor-to-ceiling windows connect with the panoramic view from the steep hillside location. The black plaster facade contrasts with the uniformly monochromatic white interior. More at XTEN Architecture. Photos: Steve King.
