Via @ArchDaily, a cabin designed with a budget to meet, on a hillside in Winthrop, Washington, USA, features a simple box elevated by a concrete base.
Raising the 850 sq. ft. structure transformed "a modest living space" from ordinary room to a viewing platform with unobstructed sight-lines.
